RE:World Famous Tattoo Ink??

I just ordered a hand full of these inks. I too am seeking reviews. I figure why not try em. If they're great, then fantastic. If they're not, then I won't purchase them again.
I'll post again once I get them into the skin.

RE:World Famous Tattoo Ink??

we were given 6 colors to try during an event held last week green, red, yellow, blue, pink & white (dont know the exact names) but those were the colors. bottom row were the 6 WFTI colors and upper row where intenze. i didnt like it. it was dull and hard to put on the skin and after wiping the colors it didnt went smoothly.. i however liked the yellow.. the whole colors i used for the piece where intenze and it was brighter and easier for me to put on the skin. my opinion though. to each his own..

I used to use talens for lining, it was suggested to me by a fellow artist that I try world famous black for lining.. Either 8 or 12 ounces for 22 bucks. Well I tried it and it goes in smoother faster and heals blacker than talens. No clue on their colors though, I ordered As small color set to try it out.

I haven't used the set yet because I ordered them from Tommys tattoo supply and they expire in a year. I emailed tommys with my dissatisfaction and they said to contact world famous directly. I did and they responded immediately with disgust that tommys would sell me such old ink. The guy's name was Anthony, he said to keep the set I bought and give him my address and he will replace it with new ink for free. Within 2 hours of that call I received a tracking number. So from the Time I initially contacted world famous until resolution was 2 hours total. So I can say they have the best customer service I've ever encountered.

RE:World Famous Tattoo Ink??

I've never used the ink you guys are talking about. By the time I clicked reply I already forgot what the ink is called. Don't get me wrong if this is a new company and people are blown away by it, I think you would hear of it more often or maybe we will, I'm not here to knock a new or old product but I would guess they have some sponsored artists just like any other company nowadays, I'm sure someone could check the list. I'm a believer that products could always get better! Honestly, I wouldn't even think about using another company that hasn't proven themselves for years of great results. If some ink company comes along and says it's better, it's technically not true. Unless it's double the price and the company is doing something very special and unique, other than that it's all the same stuff. I would strongly reccomend sticking with Ink companies that have proven to provide great stuff for years and you have seen the great results with a solid track record. Why would you look elsewhere? Unless there is something very special they are doing. Although there are a few brands that cut corners that you might want to stay away from. It's pretty simple, stick with what is proven to be good like Intenze products, Eternal Ink and Fusion Ink. If you feel you are not getting good results with any of those companies, then I wouldn't be so eager to blame the ink. Rather, learn how to tattoo better. That might of sounded like I'm an asshole but it's simply just the truth. I've done my fair share of trying different inks over many years and some colors have dissapread from my skin, to brands that consistently caused problems. If you are having problems with the brands that have a proven track record then I think something else is going on. I'm not knocking their ink, I don't really care about anybodies ink or who sells the most, and why not incourage another ink company, we already have about 40 you could choose from. But, unless they are developing it in a unique way, such as mixing it by hand or chemically formatted something different then it's the same stuff. But, you may be the type of person that wants to be different and use something else other than what most people use. Then try it out for a month and see the results. That's really the only way you will know if it's better than a company that has spent millions of dollars perfecting their ink. I get it, there are people that want to be different such as a IPhone user compared to an Android phone. I would say stop being stubburn and silly and just buy an iPhone. That's my opinion, but who knows maybe one day I'll switch to this ink and buy an Android. Who knows!

RE:World Famous Tattoo Ink??

I come here pretty often and read the comments and reviews. This however is something near and dear to my heart. Although I do agree with you Mike, I also disagree. I've used many different inks myself. My longest stint with a brand has been eternal, however I have started to make the change. Amazingly World Famous Ink, though a start up, has been making a lot of noise since you posted here. Most people will find the ink much easier to use vs other brands. Now I agree that no one will know how a specific ink will hold up over time. That's just the way of the beast. However this company has approached ink manufactering with that in mind. You mention eternal, fusion, and intenze. Each of these inks are predispersed. They are a heavy pigment load that like to skin over or dry out as you work. Now World Famous is also a heavy pigment load, but they are a powder base and do not dry out or separate while you work. The pigment instead bonds together and a quick stir as you work is all you need to deliver a steady and consistent pigment to the skin. Now with this in mind, you also are guaranteed the exact same hue, tint, tone, or shade each time you order a bottle. Quality control starts the moment the base powder is ordered. If for some reason the hue is off, Lou or Anthony will stop what they are doing and make it right. Now while you may not like androids (who hates starwars?), they are just as powerful and user friendly as iPhone's. In some ways they are much better then the iPhone. I made the switch and I'm posting this using my galaxy s5. Personally I'll never go back to an iPhone. Too many times my iPhone 4 left me I the cold. Just my two cents.

RE:World Famous Tattoo Ink??

Hi guys I have not long tried world famous after picking up some at a convention. They don't seem no easyer to put in the skin than fusion. If I am honest I was disappointed I expected better results with workability after hearing all the hype. I have used a lot of inks over the years from starbright, Waverley, and all other leading names I also find intenze not up to much either when it's healed a few month in the skin. I soon whent back to my usuall inks fusion, dermaglow i use my inks pure out of the bottle with no dilution at all apart from from if I am using a wash over a saturated lighter tone. One of my main concerns is mixibility I like to use some colours from one brand and some from another. We all know the dangers of intermixing powder with predispersed. But for a powder pigment it flys in if u compare it to Waverley another powder pigment. But comparing it to say dermaglow for its workability I would stick with dermaglow and fusion it just suits the way I work. I have a client coming tommorow that I used wf on I have not seen it healed yet so I will compare more tommorow and post how it looks healed.

RE:World Famous Tattoo Ink??

I have used all with good results. A friend recently turned me on to a new brand crazyhorse color that I find to be as good if not better than all the big name brands out their.
