I have a client coming in a couple of days he quite recently had a large cover up completed but the tattoo underneath is showing through quite clearly despite it being quite dark,He now wants his full arm blacked out and white details adding over the top.
Is there any advice anybody can give me or anything i should avoid? This isn't something I've done before so any help would be appreciated.
Use a good quality black ink and have plenty of ink caps on the go, once you get half way down a cap, change to the next cap as the blood and plasma will dilute the ink, also think about needle groupings, dont be tempted to just use the biggest mag you can get your hands on,
From experience an 11,13 or 15 mag is more than ample, I have seen people using mags as big as a shovel and it isnt necessary any quicker for solid fill but great for shading, also decide what type of mag you are going to use, stacked, weaved, curved etc.
