I have just 3 years experience of tattooing.I have used full hygienic environment on my shop .But in these years 3-4 customers who have white pimples after
15 days when the tattoo heals .These pimple are only outside of the tattoo. I recommend to the doctor .I also go with him. Doctor says 'It is a little infection don't worry' and give some medicine to him it will be fine in 10-20 days .Some customer took the medicone or some not But Both are automatically fine between 10-20 days.I can't understand what happened.what is the problem behind it .Is it my mistake Or what. Yes i have seen same problem some other artist too .I Don't know why.

I m using new needle , Autoclave or Disposable grip sets, every time clean my area, wrap every thing with clean paper, New Gloves.Tell him a full Care of tattoo.

Any suggestoin..........

do you use distilled water to make your greywash? I heard a similar problem that turned out to be the ink that he used it contained distilled water that was contaminated or it could just be blocked pores from some aftercare product that doesn't agree with them, hope that helped.

What kind of aftercare are your clients using and how generously are they applying it? We usually suggest A&D ointment if a customer isn't interested in tattoo goo, and I've seen from applying too thick of a layer for too long will clog up the pores and cause what looks like a kind of outbreak around the area with small itchy pimples. I'd check on that, as it may not be anything that you yourself are doing wrong or problems with any of your equipment or products.

Been tattooing for almost 8 years now and have had this happen a couple times. If the client is using and A&D Ointment or something with this type of consistency, they are more than likely applying it to thick which is not allowing the tattoo itself to get the oxygen it needs to heal. Tell them to stop using it and go straight to a Lubriderm, non-fragranced lotion. Good Luck...

.

Hey bro,

Ask your client if they are allergic to wool. If they are then they are most likely allergic to A&D ointment. one of the main ingredients in A&D is Lanolin
Lanolin is a fatty, wax-like substance derived as a byproduct from sheep's wool. Lanolin is commonly used in hair products, hand creams, lip products and moisturizers for its emollient properties. Emollients soften and moisture the skin by creating a barrier which prevents transepidermal water loss, which is the natural loss of moisture through the skin. By creating a barrier against evaporation, the skin stays moisturized even when no additional moisture is applied externally.
Lanolin can be very soothing, but can also have a sensitizing effect that causes allergic reactions. People already prone to eczema may be especially sensitive to lanolin.
If you have an allergic reaction to lanolin, you will most like experience an itchy skin rash on the part of your body where you applied the product containing the lanolin. It may take a few hours or up to a day or two or longer for your skin to react. The most common reaction sites are your hands, face, arms and feet. A lanolin skin reaction typically produces a mild allergic reaction, but in some people it may be more extreme. A mild reaction consists of a scaly patch of skin or small, red itchy bumps. If you applied the product to your face, your lips and face might swell. In more extreme cases, your rash might not only itch and burn, but may even develop into blisters

hope that helps

Most likely the client is using too much A&D for their aftercare not allowing any air to get to the tattoo. When I finish a tattoo, before I cover it, I apply the A&D and specifically make them watch me and see how thin I am applying it, and make it a point to tell them thin, thin, thin layer. I also tell them if they over use it they will get tiny pimples all around it which is their body telling them they are using to much. I am pretty serious about aftercare at my shop so I GIVE every client a small baggy which contains specific aftercare instructions, and a small packet of A&D...which you can get through Unimax Supply...144 packets for 10 bucks. Well worth it if I get them atleast started in the right direction of taking care of it. Good Luck
