black and gray

mike,---------noticed how solid your black and gray is. Are you usually using a true gray? seems to opaque for graywash. if so how are you mixing them down? pre mix or on the fly?

yeah they are a true grey,sometimes i premix and sometimes its on the fly,depends what kinda mood im in,but basiclly black and white mixed together.

What kind of ratio for the Black & white mix would you tend to use. for example i use 5%,10%,25%,50% and straight black for my grey wash range. would you mix them similar swaping water for the white.this is probable a stupid question but just curious havent done black and grey that way before but it looks cool. your work rocks by the way man.

that'll work,there is many ways to do it,just how there is many ways to do grey wash.

i ear that´s impossible make b&g cut the black with water with neumas.because the machine dont bogs down and make the soft shadows come out with blood
