fusion and classic color inks

wussup mike,
have you ever had any problems with the golden yellow from classic color or fusion? when I use it , it gives me like a dirty yellow look. Its not that bright when it heals ; it heals all spotty. Its not solid. I dont know if its me or the ink.

No problems with the classic for me, been using it for years and never had an issue.
Muddy as in variances in color? Or spotty saturation?

Too, if you have been using a lot of pre-dispersed inks in the past, like Intenze and Eternal-the pure pigment inks like Classic take a little different touch to get them saturated well. Just not as easy to work into the skin IMO.
If the golden yellow is too ochreish for ya try mixing up a bottle 50/50 with the bright yellow, which is amazazing by the way.

I havent gotten into Classic inks but I know that I havent had any problems with Fusion golden yellow, it is possible you got a bad batch but the odds arnt very high if your having the same problem with two different ink companies. Try doing a mix between orange and yellow. Make your own Golden Yellow and see if that helps.

Im getting spotty saturations. The classic colors are real watery. Does your golden yellow come out bright?

eternal and fusion are the same thing, the maker of eternal moved to fusion and is producing the same product just a different label

ya cams right i actually talked to the chemist from fusion and bought a set of inks at the portland tattoo expo...It is the same guy and they are real similar except for a couple of pigments. From my personal experience i feel the fusion black is better then triple black, but i havent tried fusion washes yet, the one color I totally dig from fusion is the atomic yellow, its really watery but flies in and heals awesomely bright.....havent tried classic yet but im digging what im using right now...and it works for me..gonna pick up some intenze warm colors I hear good things about them.....

cam, jason, I disagree regarding Fusion and Eternal being the same. Yes, Adam moved on from Eternal and started Fusion, but they are Not the same inks. A lot of colors are very close, but the consistency is much different. Fusion is more creamy than thick, and does not dry out in the cap even after 5-6 hours... Fusion seems a little brighter to me also, especially the blues. My .02

RE:fusion and classic color inks

Yeah the consistency is different but I put all eternal and fusion inks side by side and all the colors matched except twelve of the fusion that eternal did not have, on another note I have noticed that gamma green is awesome and is far better than the match up from eternal either it was nuclear or grafitti green , they are way thick. I got certain colors from each set I like more than others that's why I get different brands eternal, fusion, intenze and others .. About to get the zombie set of eternal soon......
