rapier2 vs swiss rotary

hay everyone the guy that i work for says dont buy a rapier2 get a swiss rotary and he says that the rapier2 is a cheap version of it, is this true? and what do you think is better ive already got a swashdrive gen7 and lovinit thats why i want another rotary any help would be great

i have 2 rapier 2's awesome machines...more like a dragonfly,but with no adjustment, has preset Give... very nice

I can tell you there is nothing cheap in my machines. I happen to have 20 being use in Australia right now. I use German Faulhaber motors in my machines, the same ones NASA uses in their satilites. The machining process I use are firearms grade as well as the materials in my machines. I back up every machine and service each one myself. I have close to 300 in circulation and more being sold daily. I've been in business for 3 years and have been building machines for 25 years. Look up inkpagoda on youtube and see my machines in use. Not to mention the Swiss is a direct drive with no give what so ever and for $400 or so dollars you should get some give.

i dont agree with you.is not the give that make the machine better or not,in fact a machine with lot of give is more dificult to pack color and make more scab
a powerfull motor,a good torque and the time the needle pass in the skin is whats matter´s.
the problem with the rotarys is the speed,to get a powerfull stroke the machine have to run very fast,thats why some guys that really tattoo dont use rotarys

Man you cant even compare a rapier to a swiss rotary,the rapier blows swiss rotary away...i prefer the rapier over my swashdrives,stigmas and many other rotarys,rapiers line amazing at 7 to 9 volts depending on the grouping,the best rotary ive ever used.
