RE:lining ink

I personally use Dynamic. And have recently started to use Intenze Zuper black. The Zuper is my choice for tribals, and looks good on darker skin tones. I have made a grayscale from both but prefer the softer Dynamic due to my shading style. I even have a bottle of Bloodline black lining ink that works just fine. But if you prefer what Mike uses...I believe its Talens or Dynamic at the moment.

More curious as to why no one mentions silver back black for lining been using it for a few years now and cant seem to use anything else.

hendrickson, I hear that brougham! I love Silverback for lining, fill and shading. It is the soot! Crisp clean lines, no blowouts, and heals perfect. I use it every time, on time. Triple black of any variety is not good for lining, it blows out if not very careful, and the eternal 3X is notorious.

Dynamic is perfect. Not too thick not too runny n stays black as shit lol. It's all around a good black tribal color mixing outlining b n g whatever u can't go wrong

RE:lining ink

For everyone who is looking for a good black, i have to say all the blacks on the market are a bit different. I bought sample bottles of almost all of the black inks to find witch one i tattoo best with cause everyone has a different tattooing type. my favorite is true black from intenze it lays nice and dark without blowing out. also like kuro sumi but when it heals doesnt seem to be as dark. eternal lining is ok but is very dark and blows out really easy if your not careful. and everyone seems to be talking about dynamic black i personal not a huge fan it is very thin and seems almost like you have to really dig it in to lay a good line but the good thing about it is it doesnt seem to blow out as easy as alot of the others.

RE:lining ink

Inks are a matter of personal taste.. a Faster Hand Speed will do better with thinner inks & a Slower Hand Speed will do better with thicker inks..

Personally I like MOM'S BLACK PEARL OUTLINING INK!

Take Care, Bill Kearney. :-)

I use Kuro Sumi, Intenze true black and Talens for lining and they al work great.

I use Intenze zuper black for filling. Its smears to much for lining.
