Neo tats again

Ok guys sorry to bring this up again Ive only used coil machines so I have a few questions if someone could help would be awesome. Myself and a guy I work with decided to put money in together to try some sort of rotary machine we are both looking for an ideal liner we looked at the neo tat machines with the whole no give feature we thought it sounded right for the job.from their we checked some forums to see what people thought including mikes here we've heard about some snagging issues also had some concerns about possible blowout lines too just wanted to know if this is a good introductory rotary or if something else would be better thanks guys.

RE:Neo tats again

I bought 2 NeoTat machines, a long and mid stroke, 7 or 8 months ago. Loved the long stroke for lining and shading for the first month and then for some reason that i still cannot work out, i started getting nasty snagging issues with lining... so much so that it turned me off using the neotats completely and i tried to sell them off (but couldnt find a buyer).
Fast forward a few months and i started using them again for shading ONLY and i cannot live without them now... absolutley LOVE them for shading.

So the short of it in my opinion... Shading YES.. lining NO!

RE:Neo tats again

I like lining with the stealth, I think rotarys work great for lining if you have a needle that pulls all the way back into the tube, The bishops stroke is similar to neo tat and lines fine for me but would be better if the stroke was a bit longer. You do have to line pretty slow and looser needles work better. So far a stealth with tat soul traditional eights have got me some of the best most consistent lines Ive ever done.

Swashdrive is ok.

For lines and small details I'm still on the Stigma Hyper. Works great for me!
