Stencils

Hey Mike,
I noticed in your dvd animal style that you create your stencil right on the back of what seems a print out of the image. I just also got your book and it says that you use the top layer of the thermo paper for better maneuverability and placement that the print paper is to thick to work with. Am I understanding this correctly? Seemed that in the animal style you are using the heavier paper. If not do you place the print out on the top and stencil it out from there and then use the thermo paper. Hope this is clear it sounds confusing Im sure. Just tryin to get a better understanding. Thanks bro!

RE:Stencils

Nowadays I just use the print out as my stencil, I prefer it that way over using the top thermo sheet, it transfers a more solid stencil that way. On occasion I might use that top thin sheet as my stencil if ill be laying the stencil on the foot or an area that needs more flexibility, but I can usually get it using the print out thats on regular paper.
