WHY

Why does there seem to be such a big fuss on rotary machines. Some people are running out and spending the big dollars on these machines only to do 4 -5 hrs with them, find that they are not what they expected then put them up on ebay saying that they are going back to coils(.I hope Mike you don`t start to do traditional hand tattooing).I myself made the switch to rotary`s after many years of going into work early just tune my coil machine`s for that day(got the shits) .It took me a week to get use to one thing and that was the reduction in noise. So if you are considering making the switch to any quality rotary just be 100% sure as they are expensive. But believe me nothing beats going to work loading the machines up and getting down with the art . By the way having said that! i also still dabble with my coil machines. So change what can be changed,,what cant be changed leave alone ,and learn to be able to pick between the two........regards Snap

RE:WHY

i switched to rotaries, for the same reason..i still have a couple of coils...
i think my biggest mistake when i used to use coils that i settled for Second best for machines. i should have bought a Cain instead of an Indy Irons as an examle..the same goes for rotaries..these are our tools..ive learnt theres no place to be cheap.
it was learning curve when i switched to rotaries..
correct me if i'm wrong ,but coils technology is based on 1800's knowledge. everything evolves.

RE:WHY

rotaries and numa will prob be the norm in the future and coil guys like myself will prob be referred to as vintage....

I dont care for any machines other than coils
however that is just my opinion

I own alot of next gen orions and I am more than pleased with all 7 of them

RE:WHY

is not reu that the best rotarys is the expensive ones.
i have one that cost 1/3 of the stigma or dragonfly and is mutch better,
rotarys is expensive because the builder want to make a lot of money.
motors is cheap, the secret for the machines cost so mutch is easy.
build a machine give one to a reference tattooist and thats it anybody pay a lot of money and believe in the machine.

RE:WHY

JASON .ROTARYS MAY NOT BE EXPENSIVE TO YOU IN EUROPE .BUT TO THE COUNTRIES LIKE AUSTRALIA AND THE U.S THEY ARE.! 375 EURO`S ARE SOMETHING LIKE $600 +.EVEN HERE IN AUSTRALIA WHERE SWASHDRIVE IS MADE WITH A SWISS MADE MOTOR IN IT ARE $500 +.AND IT ALSO COMES INTO PLAY WHAT CERTAIN COMPANIES LIKE STIGMA OR SWASH HAVE TO OFFER.. SO I GUESS I REALLY DIDN`T WANT TO START THE HOLE ROTARY DEBATE OVER AGAIN.I JUST WANTED TO KNOW (WHY) PEOPLE WHERE BUYINGY THEM ONLY TO SELL THEM AFTER SUCH A SHORT TRYLE PERIOD. MY MISTAKE I DON`T KNOW (WHY) SNAP
