RE:stigma hyper v3 rca cord

I would say polarity issue.the pos and neg may be backwards on your RCS cord.
As stated for the Bizarre 2 they tell you the motor will run either way but to make sure the cam goes clockwise. Now with the Bishop or Impact rotary if the pos and neg are reversed on your cord the machine will not run.
Have you tried a standard clipcord? If so and it works, I'd say your RCA cord wires need changed, easy thing to do.
Hope this helps.

RE:stigma hyper v3 rca cord

Hi beyond art ,
Thanks for purchasing Stigma. We have in our Stigmas the positive pole in the center of the Rca like most of the other machine brands ,so you need to switch the polarity on your cord.
Thanks Artemis

RE:stigma hyper v3 rca cord

the bishop, and the martini do not have any poarity protection inside the motor or they just have the negative pole in the center of the rca instead of the positive pole.
All you need is to have the positive pole in the center , but this is explained in the manual that came with the machine.

RE:stigma hyper v3 rca cord

Hi, I am having the same problem with my Hyper V3 but to add confusion to the topic, it will work with an RCA and clip cord cable on my cyclone 360 power pack but not on my Eikon 400. My husband who is techno/electronically minded has reversed the polarity on another RCA cable which has rectified the problem (in a way)
The strange thing is that the clip cord connections work the correct way round as there is a cut off to stop you running the Hyper V3 with the positive and negative the wrong way round on when using a clip cord so we have come to the conclusion that the hyper RCA is wired the wrong way round internally :(

RE:stigma hyper v3 rca cord

I'm probably wrong, but I think I read somewhere on this forum that some of the Eikon power supplys aren't comapatible with rotary machines? Have you tried any other rotary machines with that power unit?

RE:stigma hyper v3 rca cord

I am using a brand new out of the box EMS 400 power supply and a brand new out of the box Stigma Hyper V3. And also a brand new out of the bag Eikon RCA connection cord.

The clipcord connection is fine however, the machine fails when connected through the RCA cord whenever I move the machine around.

I may need repairs or only use my clipcord.

RE:stigma hyper v3 rca cord

I just got my Hyper V3 and it works fine with the clipcord but it is not working with the RCA cable. So it is probably the polarity issue. I would also like to say that I'm not realy satisfied with the manual which comes with the tattoo gun. Generaly it could be way better done according to price we're paying for this thing. Some things remain unclear to me, especialy this polarity stuff with the RCA cables. It could be also better described, how to switch the cables etc. I bought the mashine from one of the official distributors (from England) of the Stigma Rotarys but due to some gramatical mistakes in the manual I realy start to doubt in this sh**. I hope that I didn't buy some chinese garbage for 530 euros!!! If it is still original, such a thing should not happen. I mean 530 euros is not a small thing. This manual should be f***** perfect. I also ordered a new RCA cable and now I have to work on it...
is sombody out there who is so kind to explane me how to switch the polarities on my RCA cable before I destroy it :D Thanx in advance!

RE:stigma hyper v3 rca cord

.

no good idea to do it with the chord if you also use other machines- after changing polarity at the chord the chord could possibly not work with some special other rotary machines with the same safety-anti-occasionally-polarity-mistake-stuff- or however you will call such a construction.

whatever you'll do- no matter whether you change cable terminals at the machine or at the chord- just change the position of the cables. there should be just 2, so you only have one way to do it. nothing could be further away from rocket sience than this little problem. you just should be able to use a solder iron, but everyone in the industry should be able to repair such tiny problems- knowing the functions of your tools including the ability of troubleshooting is as important as the hygienic side of the trade. back in the days the first thing my mentor explained to me was the technical side, even before he taught me the hygienic side of the trade and imho that's the right way to go... ;)

RE:stigma hyper v3 rca cord

After purchasing two of the Stigma Hyper V3 machines, I learned one thing. Never buy a product from this company. Both machines were purchased through a registered dealer and the experience was horrible. The action of the needle pin reciprocating is erratic and the customer service provided by Stigma was some of the worst customer experience you can get.

In order to file a complaint, I had to produce serial numbers for Stigma to even reply to my email. After providing this info, they refused to think they could make a mistake by not tightening the RCA component. The packaging was substandard and included absolutely no padding. Finally, after their condescending defence, Stigma agreed to do repairs and offered to pay for the return mailing costs. I quickly sent the machine to the address they provided me which was located in Greece and they ABANDONED the package once it got there! After a lengthy process of having to broker the package to be returned to me at my expense, the machine came back to me looking as though it had been kicked all the way from Canada to Greece and back again. I will never purchase another product from this poorly managed business again.
