Replacing my really old liner

Hey everybody, this is my first post. I've read quite a bit through the other ones over the past couple years, almost every time I asked google a question it led me to a post on MD. I did my apprenticeship back in San Jose California, I do most of the B&G here at my new shop in Texas. I'm really worried about my long stroke liner, if I could replace it I would, but I can't seem to find anything like it, and I can't by a replacement because it's an antique (actually bought it from an antiques dealer for 100$). It's an American made technical sharps, all 8/32, 1 5/8" from the bottom of the coils to the bottom of the a-bar, all iron, original 12 wrap 1 1/4" coils (yeah it's a 12 I know it's weird for a soft liner but they are really old) with a 1/8" yoke. It runs perfectly loaded at around 5.5 volts. I'm mostly using my Ted Bertling mid stroke, but it's quite a bit faster than my liking. Sometimes I use my Time Machine Flatline, but I like using smaller groupings (tight 3, 3, tight 5 and tight 7 bugpin) and nothing seems to be as slow, long, consistent and soft as the tech sharps. I don't mind spending the money to buy a new machine or 2, but I don't want to spend a million dollars trying out 50 different kinds. Does anybody have any recommendations for a heavy weight small grouping liner? Right now I'm looking at borg, pulse, and pirat, but they don't seem to have the weight I'm used to, and I'm worried they will run a little faster than I like. I've tried a soba pilot, I liked that one quite a bit. I may go with that if I can't find anything closer to what I already have.

If you like your Ted machine and the only issue is its running to fast just change out the capacitor that's what makes the difference in machine speeds hope this helps

Hey Dan, it's a dial, an older artist who works in my shop said he's only seen a couple that old. I can't date it because I can't find the same model anywhere on the internet, it's cast and lapped, so it was before they started milling them. It has the original hot welded collet/screw double spike tube vice, before they started putting the U shaped retainer things on them. I can send you pictures if you'd like. It has no markings or engravings for the model number, so it pre-dates the catalog, the only marking is the Technical Sharps logo cast onto the arm where the front binding post goes. It has an original oil finish, so I know the markings weren't sanded off, they just were never there.
