Neotat Vivace. Which stroke?

Hi everyone, how are you? I need your advice, if you like. I’m the lucky owner of a Stealth and a Bishop. Now I’ve set my eyes on a Neotat Vivace, but I just can’t decide which stroke to choose. My bishop has a 3.5 stroke, and it’is a good all-round tool which I use for lining, shading and color packing (as suggested on the Bishop site). I still need to use my new machine for all purpose, but in this case the Neotat Vivace with 2.5 stroke (standard) is reported to be good for doing both lining and shading, and the 3.5 stroke (long) according to the site is only “good for shading”.
In fact as some of you probably know at Bishop they don’t sell shorter strokes. They say:
“If you like to run a shorter stroke, such as 2 mm, simply adjust your tube to allow the needles to barely hang out. There is nothing better than running a 3.5 stroke machine but bringing down the tube to expose either 1.7 or 2.5mm of needle. This way you can have that short stroke that you desire but the ink delivery of a 3.5 stroke machine.”
Do you think this applies to Neotat too?

Although I don't use the Neotat machine anymore, but I recall using the 3.5 for everything when I did. I'm sure it applies for any type of machine as well. What ever gets you the best results is what you use.

Thank you Mike! May I ask you the reason why you don't use Neotat anymore?
