Hey man,

I recommend that you pick up a color lazer printer. the images are excellent and very sharp. excellent for stenciling the photo right onto the thermal paper.
not sure if you can buy it now, if you can i'm sure its cheaper now, but this is the model i picked up for my everyday printing. The ink can be quite expensive, about $400 to replace all 4 cartridges but really worth it. perhaps you can find a dealer that does refills on the ink to save you some money.

I use an Epson pro stylus 9900 for all my professional printing, or if I need to print something larger than a 8.5X14...

hope that helps

take care

Hey bro,

I had that exact printer and gave it away. It just eats up too much ink with its stupid cleaning cycles. The HP laser is far superior, and you will probable get 6 months to a year with the ink before you need to change the toner, and I found on Ebay a company that sells a generic brand of ink 80% cheaper, so you can fill the entire toners for about $100.00. The one thing I like the most about laser printers, is that the ink dries immediately, and you can be really aggressive with your pencils when you are doing stencils..

Cheers

Just wanted to add. The Epson I have is a commercial grade printer used for professional printing. This thing will print Giclee posters 5 feet x 100 feet long. it is not something I recommend you use on a daily basis for printing. They are quite expensive to purchase about $6000.00. I use it to sell copies of art that I draw and only occasionally use it to print anything larger than 8.5x14.. The HP LaserJet Pro 200 is what you want for your shop...

Cheers
