Is the cheyenne hawk pen worth investing in?

I'm debating on buying the cheyenne hawk pen, but worries that for one I've heard the needle cartridges can sometImes be faulty and ink may splurge from the top of the needle cartridge inside the machine. Also those needle cartridges are pricey per say.So is it worth buying?

Buy a Cheyenne Thunder.
I'm using it a while ago with T Tech cartridges.
The T Tech doesn't really broken. But it doesn't have a membrane and if you hold the machine upside down for a while then the ink can flow back.
In this case you can easily disinfect and/or sterilize the grip (it's separate from the machine).
Also the T-Tech is cheap and very good quality! I love their bugpins.

Well - the pen i mainly like a thunder - same force...
if you have the thunder now - what you will have is just a thunder Pen style..

i was to buy a cheyenne i would buy the pen - just beacuse i would try a penstyle machine..

why not try the Edge X from FKI????...

Had the spirit and original hawk liked both but good luck getting anything fixed on them. U will most likely get the oh we don't do that call kingpin and then they will say call unimax then they will say it'll be more trouble than it's worth call Cheyenne etc etc. Getting rid of my Cheyenne spirit and have been using an edge X for a few months now and love it. No better machine out there and they are top notch in customer service as well.

I referred the thunder (but it could be the spirit or the original one) just because its grips is not combined with the motor... I mean if the ink would flow back then you can easily clean the grip of the thunder/spirit/original but you can't do that with the pen.
Would you take the whole machine into autoclave?
I can easily do that with the grip.
