ReproFX Stencil Green

Spirit GREEN THERMAL Transfer Paper

Has anyone tried out ReproFX's new spirit green paper yet for their stencils? I noticed earlier this year they were releasing a new thermal and freehand green stencil paper and see it for sale on some suppliers websites now but havn't heard about anyone trying it and didnt find much about it or really any type of reviews or discussions about it online amongst artists. I'm probably going to just order box in the next order from a supplier that carries it but theirs questions about it I have about it that I can hopefully get answered before then. I think having another color of stencil paper is going to be helpful or even more colors if they come out with more because I can see it being useful to differentiate shade tones from one another and from hard lines or edge stencil lines by using one color for the outline or edge lines on the stencil then using the other color to do all the shapes or cross hatching in the areas where shading would be done at and making the stencil easier to read especially on more complexed tattoo designs that have lot's of details or designs that that have lot's of shapes used for mapping out shading details. It would only be possible by making the stencils by hand but I do that anyway for tattoos that have lot's of shading shapes and details. Dont see how it would be possible to use two different color spirit papers on one stencil design using a thermal fax machine though. Anyways, what I'm wondering is how dark of a green does the green color stencil paper make when it's placed on the skin? Does it stay as good and as long on the skin during the tattoo process as the regular purple spirit stencil papers dyes with stencil stuff (or any other kind of stencil solution one prefers)? I see that ReproFX also sells a spirit green stencil transfer cream now also along with their regular stencil cream, is there possibly something in the green stencil cream different from their regularspirit stencil cream that works better for the stencil green spirit paper? Or is it the same thing with different label and just trying to make more money off the same product? If it really is different than their regular stencil cram would other stencil solutions like stencil stuff not work or work as well for the green stencil paper as they do for the original spirit purple paper? and I would need to also purchase the spirit stencil green cream in order to use the stencil green paper or for it to stay on the skin as long as possible? If anyone has any experience with it and could answer any of these questions and/give any other info or tips about it would be appreciated. Thanks.

RE:ReproFX Stencil Green

Hi! We've tried the green stencils. I found that the lines come out more crisp when transferred onto the skin, but it doesn't stay on as long as the purple ones. I ordered the reprox green stencil stuff along with it and that came off even more quickly than when I used it with Electrum O_o.
Though the purple stencil tends to 'flow out' a bit when there is a too much Electrum on the skin, the green stencil doesn't do that. But then again, it wipes off more quickly, which causes me some stress while tattooing :) So, I'm sticking with the purple ones. I also tried the reprox purple stencil stuff with the purple (and green) stencils and that doesn't last as well as Electrum does. Maybe with another stencil solution it'll work fine.

RE:ReproFX Stencil Green

The green goes away too fast. I tend to hand stencil with purple instead of using the machine green because I know it's gonna go away.
