Career dilemma

I've recently left the shop I've been working at for the last 3 years due to falling out with the owner because he only seemed to care about the money side of tattooing not the actual art side of it he would rush every tattoo he did doing a poor job but he didn't care as long as he got paid and then would moan at me for taking to long with my tattoos, and the better I got the more shitty he got with me so I had to get out of there as I felt staying at this shop would ruin my career, so my dilemma is that I don't want to go back to another shop like that as I may not get on with the owner again so I want to start something on my own but not sure what the options are? I can't afford a shop but I've seen a lot of people making pop up studios all over the place from there houses or rented rooms/offices there's even one guy who has a studio in a mini bus any way what I'm really asking is that if anyone else has set up anything like this and how they are getting on and is it possible to get licensed for something like this? Any help would be great

RE:Career dilemma

I set up a studio at my home earlier this year and got it passed by the EHO so licensed and registered, easy to do, a few things to be aware of, post your email address or facebook link and I can tell you what I know.
