I was wondering how is the best way to achieve bold lines.
I am using right now a 5 round to build lines, but i found the process daunting,
Any tips?

RE:Bold Lines

Why not use 1209 or 1211 liner.

Hey Dandan,

Building a line is the best way to do it. although it is a bit daunting, A built line will look cleaner and sharper over 20 years than a one pass line. if you would prefer to do one pass lines, then I would recommend that you try and get use to using a 14rlbpt or start using larger groupings like a 9,11,rl...

hope that help, take care

I find it easiest to use a 7 or 9 round liner then go back with a tight five to add extra edge and smooth out any little wobbles. This lets you add the bulk of the line in one pass, and then you can tighten edges and corners into a nice clean border or point.

This is just me, but sometimes I'll line with an 8rs and it gives me nice one pass bold lines. I'm using a Swiss rotary and lining at usally 7.5 volts. This technique doesn't work for everybody though.
