Cleaning a Cartridge grip

So I have an FK Irons RPG grip which worked fine until I started autoclaving it. I take out the plastic component inside and autoclave the rest.
It started to lose its click adjustment and now it squeaks and doesnt click.

So I bought another cartridge grip from EZ and it seemed perfect it had a very firm click when adjusting, and just after the first autoclave before I even used it, it doesnt click at all. It just turns like a loose screw and the depth of the needle keeps changing while tattooing.

Please someone help me because there isnt much information about how to sterilize these grips at all.

you can buy a solid stainless grip that is ultrasonic and autoclave safe there good and takes all the guess work out of it the whole thing goes in a bag and gets autoclaved job done
