AIr dryers/filters

I was just curious on your views of the Neuma being sold with out any of the proper air dryers/filters to prevent bacteria and microrganisms being transmitted into the air and on your "open" tattoo ? I was also curious if you could give me some insight on your air dryers / coalescent filters and maybe where i could purchase a good one from???

The air blowing on the open wound has concerned people in the past ,but the way the air blows out the back end of the neuma it doesnt really blow on the tattoo as much as people would think it would,im sure it does on occasion in certain positions but there has never been a problem with me or anyone else using them ever,so i dont worry about it,and if the air hits the tattoo most clients love it because it feels good kinda like when you get lasered,they blow the cold air on it first.
the only thing i use is a trap thats already on the regulator,i drain it after each day with just a turn of a knob that is on the bottom of it,and its connected to a hose that drains into a bottle,so its pretty easy.

Do you understand that air compressors are a breeding ground for bacteria bc of the moisture and warm air they produce and just because its not blowing on the tattoo doesnt mean its not a health risk. These microrganisms are still becoming airborne and contaminating the air that you and your clients are breathing. CHeck out this artical

yeah thats very interesting,i do use a oil less compressor,i need to get a good air drier as well,i'll have to look into that..

Yeah I brought the issue to Carsons attention and made some informative post on his website.He said he was looking into the issue and gonna put some on the Neuma website. I personally dont understand why Jun air or any other company would even sell dental oiless compressors without air dryers when it is obviously a necessity.
