Time taken?

My question is how much time do you spend on some of your tattoos? For example Sly's tattoo?

Sly's piece took forever because he kept having me go over it to try and get it brighter and brighter,but it was a bit extensive because it gets to a point where thats as bright as its gonna get due to his skin tone,and what not.but with all the extra layers,total was probably about 30 hours,where normally that should of been about 20 hours,including the portrait,roses and tiger.Most of my pieces on average take about 7-8 hours for a color portrait.and on average they are about 4 or 5 inches wide by 7 or 8 inches tall,give or take,the're always different.
