hybrid neuma

Hi Mike,
Was wondering if you had tried that Neuma hybrid yet and know anything about it? Thanks, Lina Tattooing Angels

RE: hybrid neuma

yes i have tried the prototype, several months back and it was amazing.i didnt get a chance to use it with the motor that you can attach to it to run with out a compressor yet , only with the same type of air supply like its ran now...but there was many benefits to it,slightly longer stroke, with i believe there is going to be different settings for that, and it hits softer to where you can work an area more and cause less damage, and there will be adjustments for that as well, softer or harder hitting machines..also the air exits the back of the machine instead of the bottom now too..i cant wait to try it with the motor,so that means no more having to mess with traveling with a compressor.

RE: hybrid neuma

Hey Mike, big fan of your work! I am new to the neumas and I have just began to use the hybrids (never used the n2's). I currently have 2 SS machines with med and soft inserts, and 2 LS machines with hard and med inserts. I was wondering what are your armature stiffness preferences with the long stroke and the short stroke? Thank you

RE: hybrid neuma

short stroke or long stroke go with the medium stiffness,i believe thats the clear little insert.and i was running it at about 13 maybe a bit less than that depending on the spot.
