Ill think about Rotated lines mostly at the stencil making stage.When making the stencil your drawing the lines,which will obviously be your template to tattoo,so just think when your making the stencil you want to try and not make any lines that are paralel with others,its just a trick that will help something not look flat,i gave the example in the book using a pin up,saying if you look at the piece as lines which you see as your stencil just rotate or adjust a line a little so its not parellel with another,if you dont do it its not going to be the end of the world,its just an old trick that the old master artists used to use,i was taught this in a figure drawing class i took,and it stuck with me,i guess its hard to explain becuase alot of people ask me about it.

i think i get the gist of what you're saying. i'll try it out in the sketchbook and see if i notice a difference.

i know you're a busy guy mike, but i was wondering if you could be bothered to do a little quick critique of my work if i could send you some stuff. i'm worried i may have plateaued a bit. we have some differences in style but i respect your work and your opinion.
