Pelican cases are great, if you are a traveling tattoo artist you definitely want to get a pelican case, the best feature other than being strong,is that it has a Automatic Pressure Equalization Valve, so you don't have to worry about inks exploding on an airplane. The pelican cases come in various sizes, you don't want to go to big or else you could run into extra weight charges when checking it on an airplane, so go for a 1560 pelican case. You could get away with going a size up or down from that size. Also still be careful on taking inks that have the pop top, sometimes they can just fall off and you'll have a huge ink mess, make sure to use the twist on caps and you shouldn't have to worry about anything,i also put them in a separate little plastic box and put that in your pelican case, travel with 1 ounce ink bottles or a maximum of 2 ounce bottles, there agin you want to cut down on any weight issues. Not sure if you use Neuma, I don't use them anymore but when i did travel with the compressor i would actually put the travel size compressor in my other luggage with my clothes to pad it,i always had to pay extra fees for that too, which sucked.Or you could buy a pelican for the compressor too,but then you'll pay extra fees for an extra checked on bag, plus weight fees, that could be anywhere from 100-300 dollars, and thats just to get it there, then you'll have to pay it again to get it back.

RE:Moving

Not sure if you've seen these bags made by Sullen, I saw one at the Portland Tattoo Expo yesterday. Looked pretty good unless you travel with tons of stuff. Seemed fine for a weekend if it were planned right. A few tables had them for $100.
