shop etiquette

hey mike, and all.
im moving up to Northridge in a week, from the middle of nowhere southern California. i am really into the arts and i try to be as respectful to the art of tattooing as possible. i have been studying everything and anything i can over the last 2 years, tattooing, drawing, and photography. well anyways my question is if it would be okay for me to stop by the shop and maybe even show my portfolio? either way i would be happy just getting to meet anyone there. i don't know anyone in the business or in LA and im moving right next to CSUN. not sure on the right procedure for all of this and i don't want to seem like im loitering or just wasting anyone's time. im sure you get hit up for apprenticeships often, im just trying to do things the right way, any guidance would help.

Yeah it's all good to roll into a shop and show you portfolio to try and get an apprenticeship. As far as My Studio we are Jam packed and have no room for another artist, but feel free to swing by and I'll help guide you into the right direction.
