photo paper printing

greetings mr. devries. one quick question.on ur dvd u suggest using a reference image on photo paper for best contrast. do u go to a photo place to get this printed or do u print it out of a printer in ur studio? im really wondering if there is n e difference in quality from a photo place print to a print out of say an hp printer? thank you for ur time!!!!!

I just use my Hp all in one printer to make my copies,I use it for my photos for my portfolio and reference print outs. The Quality you can get from these fairly inexpensive printers are good enough for what we need them for,yeah I'm sure you can get a better print from a professional place,but i don't think it's necessary,especially for a reference print out.
