If you love the Neuma Hybrid and you feel that you are doing good with it, then stick with it, and figure out your rubber band problem. But I don't think you would be asking me my opinion if it was just the rubber bands that your having problems with, the Neumas are expensive, but so are the Stigmas. But then again what is expensive? I have paid two thousand dollars for two coil machines before which is double what a Stigma or Neuma would be, so forget the expensive part for a second. If you like the Hybrid with the motor which it sounds like you do, you are already using a rotary. The Stigma is smaller,lighter, more consistent, also has the clipcord or rca plug, so you can run coils in there too if you feel like it. You are a bit more limited when your using Neuma with air or with the motor. As far as the smooth tattoo look that you like.... you could get that with most machines, yeah technically Neuma with Air you could get it a bit smoother but It's not worth the struggle to get there. When other machines can do it too and it gets it in better to hold up better. I could really go on and on...

Go with Stigma! You don't have to buy a whole set up, just try out one and see how it goes, if you don't like it you can easily sell it.
