Flesh Tones update

Hey Mike,

I picked up your book, "Lets Get Realistic" and I was wondering if you plan to release an update in the near future? I also was wondering if your flesh tone palette/order has changed since then? I am not sure if you have replaced certain colors with a more superior product or if it is still pretty much in the same family of colors as it was before? I currently have some Eternals, Fusion and some Intenze, I just don't want like 90 different brands of ink, because:
1) I don't want to have to go through tons of distributors; it is a cost factor and a pain in the ass.
2) I want to keep a good consistency with my palette and learn it as much as I can.

If you don't answer, I completely understand and know that you are a busy guy.

Thanks again,

Hanz

RE:Flesh Tones update

My flesh tone palette is pretty much the same as it states in Let's be Realistic, the only things that have changed is I don't use so much of the Fleshy Flesh anymore and I incorporate some of the flesh tones from Fusion Ink if I want something a little more on the pinkish side. I also have been using more light brown from Intenze and Peachy flesh from Eternal. But any of these new colors I mentioned or even the palette as it is in the book, you cant go wrong. Just depends on what direction you want to go in, whether its in the yellow spectrum or peach, pinks, You know, flesh colors very, the flesh tones in each portrait could be slightly different.

RE:Flesh Tones update

Right on Mike, thank you very much. I was just curious because at times I can get a little critical, but lately (especially after the new video), I just followed your advice, Nikkos and Gogues on "adding your own flavor". I know Cory Cudney say in one of his interviews that is has an obsession with getting his tones exactly as he see's them. Maybe that might be my problem right now, but at least I am breaking that. I have the flesh tones from Fusion, so I will try those out. I guess I had better loosen up a bit, ha, ha; I usually feel better and like the result of the work more when I just do my thing.. within reason that is. Thanks again for the update, man. Keep up the awesome work and if I have any questions, I will ask. Take care.
